Concourse runs this practical AI training for state and local government professionals. The September 2026 cohort meets live online for two 75-minute workshops and offers an optional 30-minute office hour between them.
The course moves from individual prompting and work tasks to data analysis, scheduled tasks, reusable skills or agents, and organizational AI policy. Participants learn with peers working through comparable public-sector challenges.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be state or local government professionals.
- The course is designed for professionals who already use AI for basic tasks and want to apply it to more substantial work; the application form also allows applicants to indicate that they have not used AI tools yet.
- Applicants must confirm that they or members of their team intend to attend both sessions on September 23 and 30.
- Individuals and organizational teams may apply; Concourse may prioritize teams and applicants able to attend both sessions.
