The Gabr Fellowship is an annual leadership exchange organized by the Shafik Gabr Foundation through its East-West: The Art of Dialogue initiative. It brings 16–24 emerging leaders together for structured dialogue, meetings, cultural engagement, and multinational action projects in Egypt and the United States.
The program includes a 10-day Egypt segment and a United States segment centered on Washington, D.C. Fellows also join the program’s international alumni network.

Eligibility
- Applicants must be 24–35 years old when applying.
- Applicants must be a citizen or resident of the United States, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, France, or the United Kingdom.
- Applicants must demonstrate professional excellence in their field.
- Applicants must show commitment to cross-cultural dialogue and international understanding.
- Applicants must be able to participate in the full Egypt and United States program.
- Strong English proficiency is required.
