SIIT Graduate Scholarships

Benefits & funding

• All three tracks cover SIIT tuition and educational support fees with full thesis support, excluding the TU matriculation fee (1,000 baht) and TU educational support fees (800 baht plus a 75 baht group insurance fee each semester).
• EFS adds a living allowance of 10,000 baht per month, round-trip economy airfare between Thailand and the recipient’s home country (actual cost, up to 20,000 baht), miscellaneous costs such as visa fees and one graduation English test (actual cost, up to 10,000 baht), and health and accident insurance while in Thailand.
• ETS adds a living allowance of 8,000 baht per month.
• The Faculty’s Quota announcement lists fee coverage only, with no living allowance.
• All three announcements state no conditions after graduation — no service period, no repayment.

Eligibility

• Open to applicants of any nationality, routed by track: EFS requires non-Thai nationality, ETS requires Thai nationality, and the Faculty’s Quota takes either.
• A bachelor’s degree is needed for a master’s place and a master’s degree for a doctorate, alongside SIIT graduate admission requirements: bachelor GPA of 2.75 or above for master’s entry, bachelor and master GPA of 3.50 or above for doctoral entry.
• Academic bars differ by track — EFS prefers a record in the top 20 percent of the class; ETS master’s applicants need the top 10 percent or graduation with honours, ETS doctoral applicants a GPA of 3.75 or 3.50 with one international journal publication; Faculty’s Quota master’s applicants need a GPA of 2.75 or 2.50 with one international journal publication, doctoral applicants 3.50 or 3.00 with one publication.
• Two recommendation letters are required, at least one from an academic instructor or advisor, and referees must use their institutional email addresses.
• Applicants must be in good health and conduct, and must not hold another scholarship.
• Research must fall within the fourteen listed areas across engineering, science, technology and management.

Application process

   Register on the SIIT graduate admission portal with your email address, then log in with the password the system sends you.

   Fill in personal details, educational background and employment history in full; put a dash in any box you cannot answer rather than leaving it blank.

   Choose the Graduate Scholarship Program application, the single entry point covering EFS, ETS and the Faculty’s Quota.

   Upload a statement of purpose of at least one page, a CV, official transcripts, passport or citizen ID, a 1×1.5 inch photograph, and any publications or certificates.

   Enter two referees with their institutional email addresses; the system emails them within five days of submission.

   Submit by 30 September 2026, then track application and recommendation-letter status inside the portal.
