The Sitaram Jindal Foundation is a charitable trust headquartered in Bengaluru that runs a nationwide scholarship scheme for students in India whose families have limited means. Support covers Class 11 and Class 12, ITI courses, diplomas, and undergraduate or postgraduate study in general, medical and engineering fields. The foundation states it supports more than 12,000 students a year across India.

Awards are directed at students in government and government-aided schools and colleges, and at private institutions that do not charge exorbitant fees. There is no fixed closing date — applications are received throughout the scholarship year, which runs from 1 June to 31 May, and are processed on a first-in, first-eligible basis.
