Lincoln University provides this merit scholarship to qualifying international students entering a full taught master’s programme. The award reduces the overall cost of study and is assessed automatically when the student applies for admission.
The eligible programmes span business, computing, environmental studies, agriculture, planning, landscape architecture, food innovation, tourism and sport management. Delivery and length depend on the selected degree; for example, the eligible Master of Tourism Management can be completed on campus or online in 12 or 18 months.
Benefits & funding
- NZ$15,000 for students with an A average in the final year of a bachelor’s degree entering Master of Business (Global Management and Marketing), Master of Business (Finance), Master of Fintech and Investment Management, or Master of Professional Accounting (CPA).
- NZ$10,000 for students with a B+ average in the final year of a bachelor’s degree entering one of those four programmes, Master of Management in Agribusiness, Master of Parks Management, Master of Sports and Recreation Management, or Master of Tourism Management.
- NZ$7,000 for students with a B+ average in the final year of a bachelor’s degree entering Master of Artificial Intelligence for Land Use, Master of Applied Computing, Master of Bioprotection, Master of Environment Policy and Management, Master of Environment and Agriculture, Master of International Nature Conservation, Master of Landscape Architecture (240 credits), Master of Natural Resources Management and Ecological Engineering, Master of Planning (240 credits), Master of Precision Agriculture, or Master of Science in Food Innovation.
- The scholarship is a contribution toward the overall cost of study, not a full-cost award.
Eligibility
- Applicants must be international students enrolling in a full taught master’s programme covered by the scholarship.
- Applicants must have at least a B+ average in the final year of their bachelor’s degree; the NZ$15,000 tier requires an A average and is limited to four named programmes.
- Applicants must meet the admission requirements for their selected master’s programme and provide the required study-application documents.
- The scholarship page publishes no age, gender, work-experience, nationality-country or residency-country restriction beyond international-student status.
