The UNSW International Scientia Coursework Scholarship supports international students beginning full-time undergraduate or postgraduate coursework at UNSW Sydney. The current round is for students commencing on campus in Term 1, 2027; UNSW Online and UNSW Canberra programs are excluded.
Applicants use the combined UNSW international scholarships application, through which they may be considered for this scholarship and other separately named awards. Selection considers academic merit, leadership, extracurricular activity and the applicant’s reasons for studying at UNSW.
Benefits & funding
- Offer 1 covers the recipient’s full tuition fees for the minimum duration of the eligible program.
- Offer 2 contributes AU$20,000 per year toward tuition fees for the minimum duration of the eligible program.
Eligibility
- Applicants must hold international student status. UNSW treats an applicant as international unless they are an Australian or New Zealand citizen (including dual citizens), an Australian permanent resident, or the holder of a permanent Australian humanitarian visa.
- Applicants must commence full-time, on-campus study in an eligible UNSW undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program in Term 1, 2027.
- UNSW Online and UNSW Canberra programs are excluded.
- Applicants must hold an eligible UNSW offer by 30 October 2026; the page details accepted unconditional and qualifying conditional offer routes.
- Applicants with pending Year 12 or equivalent results, and UAC International applicants, may apply by the deadline, but successful recipients must later receive an unconditional UNSW offer.
