Wien International Scholarship Program — Bachelor's Scholarship

The Wien International Scholarship Program supports exceptional international applicants entering Brandeis University as first-year undergraduates. Brandeis selects recipients for academic achievement and meaningful extracurricular or community involvement.

There is no separate scholarship application: applicants seek admission through the Common Application or Coalition Application and submit financial-aid materials. Recipients study in person at Brandeis in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Benefits & funding

The scholarship meets each recipient’s full demonstrated financial need after Brandeis reviews complete financial documentation.
Aid packages may combine grants or scholarships with on-campus employment.
Funding can be renewed according to continued demonstrated need for up to eight undergraduate semesters, provided the student maintains satisfactory academic progress.
Wien Scholars must live on campus to retain the housing and meal portion of the award.

Applicants must be international students applying for first-year undergraduate admission to Brandeis.
Selection considers strong academic achievement and significant extracurricular or community involvement.
Applicants seeking need-based aid must indicate this before admission and submit the CSS Profile plus supporting financial documentation by the applicable deadline.
Renewal requires continued demonstrated need and satisfactory progress toward graduation.

Application process
