The YECAP Climate Negotiator Training Programme builds knowledge and practical skills for engagement in international climate negotiations. UNFCCC RCC Asia-Pacific and YECAP organized the 2023 program, with implementation by RCC Asia Pacific in collaboration with YOUNGO and regional partners.
The main in-person training took place at the UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub from 15 to 17 May 2023. Virtual sessions before and after the workshop covered UNFCCC processes, national climate policy, Nationally Determined Contributions, and capacity-building.
